rouge vif

oh what fun it is to be three
when the world is all imagination and fantasy
where wolves wear coats
and spectacles and ties
surprising little girls, did you see those eyes?

modeling the wee red cape for me this morning is my friends daughter, sterling.
thank you cheryl, ruby and sterling. oh my gosh you are all so cute. my current
knitting projects are all on small needles (size three and four), too small to comfortably
knit with my hurt finger. this cape came to the rescue as it took a size nine and worsted
weight wool. i've been wanting to make it for a little girl about to turn two. she and her family
are a constant source of inspiration and sighs. i hope you like it bella. i loved making it for you.

  50. Dear Lori~

Thispost should win a prize. I'm not kidding, it's spectacular!
It's everything a children's picture book should be. No words needed, the images must be able to tell the story.

Sterling is a perfect RRH, and the wolf print is one I recognized, a perfect surprise on the door. I see Sterling doesn't seem to afraid!

This post was put together with love and tenderness and with the eyes and hands of a true blue artist.

Thank you so much for sharing! This is a perfect ending to my blog visits tonight.

    You are tenderly amazing.
